• Symptom Tracking Data: Daily logs of menopause symptoms including hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep quality, brain fog, joint pain, fatigue, and anxiety levels
• Medication Data: Information about medications, supplements, and HRT (hormone replacement therapy) you track, including dosages, schedules, and adherence records
• Miranda AI Conversations: Messages exchanged with Miranda, our AI menopause coach, for personalized wellness support
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve our service
• Device Information: Browser type, IP address, operating system, and device identifiers

• Payment Processing (Stripe): Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives your payment card details and billing information. PauseKit does not store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Email Communications (Postmark): We use Postmark to send transactional emails (account confirmations, reminders, notifications). Your email address is shared with Postmark for this purpose only.
• AI Services (Anthropic): Our AI coach Miranda is powered by Anthropic's Claude. Your chat messages are processed by Anthropic to generate responses. Anthropic does not use your conversations to train its models unless you explicitly opt in.
• Infrastructure & Hosting: We use Render for hosting and Neon for database services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the new entity (you will be notified).

PauseKit collects sensitive health and wellness information. While we are not a covered entity under HIPAA (as we are a consumer wellness app, not a healthcare provider), we treat your health data with the same level of care and security:

PauseKit is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
